Professor Yang Tingting obtained her bachelor's and doctoral degrees from Dalian Maritime University in China in 2004 and 2010, respectively. Currently, she is a researcher at Pengcheng Laboratory (PCL) and the Minister of Human Resources and Education. Since September 2012, she has been a visiting scholar at the Broadband Communication Research (BBCR) Lab in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo, Canada. Her research interests include maritime broadband communication networks, DTN networks, and green wireless communication. She has a wealth of research achievements, having published more than 80 academic papers, and authored 2 Springer English monographs. One of her papers was selected among the top 1% most cited papers in the ESI. Her research in 6G edge intelligence, especially the proposed hierarchical dynamic pricing game strategy, was included in the 6G White Paper of 2020. Professor Yang's influence in the academic world is extensive. She serves as the associate editor for IET Communications and an advisory editor for SpringerPlus. She is also a member of the technical program committees for the IEEE ICC14 and ICC15 conferences. In addition, she is the director of the Liaoning Province Maritime Spatial Big Data Fusion and Processing Engineering Technology Research Center and an academic representative of the IMO (International Maritime Organization). She initiated the KubeEdge-Wireless (KEW) community in the global open-source K8S community and is dedicated to developing open-source projects for the 6G integrated space-air-land-sea edge intelligence network platform.
